Instructions:

1. Give each student or pair a board and dice.
2. Roll the dice. Students can choose to add the dice together for one number of the algebraic rule or each dice can be a number in the rule.
3. Translate the shape according to the created rule.
4. Record the image’s coordinates.
5. Optional: Have students record their work on the tracking sheet.
